Partnering with Code First Girls
We're excited to announce our partnership with Code First Girls to actively recruit even more female coders. Code First Girls is the largest provider of free coding courses for women in the UK, and their impact doesn’t stop with education – they work with over 100 partners in the UK and globally to actively place women into tech roles.
Code First Girls has placed thousands of people into the tech industry, and these companies are seeing the impact of employing a more diverse tech workforce. The benefits of actively recruiting women from non-technical backgrounds include creative problem-solving for security threats, to performance improvements and innovation across all sectors.
We join 30 other fintech and financial services companies, including Lloyds Banking Group, Morgan Stanley, NatWest, Goldman Sachs and Bank of America, in partnering with Code First Girls.

Last year, we committed to reaching at least 35% of senior management females, and we exceeded that target by reaching 39%. So, this year we’ve increased our target to 42%, and we don’t intend to stop there. It’s partnerships like these that truly make a difference for women in our industry.
